This 8-piece black phosphate bench seat bolt set is a direct-fit replacement for 1967-1972 Chevy and GMC trucks, designed to securely fasten the bench seat to the vehicle floor. Made from high-strength steel with a black phosphate finish, the bolts resist corrosion while restoring original appearance and secure mounting. Ideal for restorations, maintenance, or replacing missing or damaged fasteners, these bolts provide durable, reliable performance and simple installation for a factory-correct fit.
Features:
  • Fits 1967-1972 Chevy and GMC truck bench seats (direct-fit, 8-piece set).
  • High-strength steel construction for dependable fastening and safety.
  • Black phosphate finish offers corrosion resistance and OEM appearance.
  • Designed to secure bench seat mounting, reducing movement and vibration.
  • Direct replacement for worn or missing bolts — ideal for restorations and maintenance.
  • Easy to install with common hand tools; restores factory fit and finish.
Installation / Application:
  • Difficulty: 2/5
  • Estimated time: 15-30 minutes
Suggested Tools:
  • Socket set and ratchet (commonly 9/16" or appropriate size)
  • Torque wrench
  • Penetrating oil (if removing rusted bolts)
  • Wire brush or thread chaser
  • Safety glasses
  • Helper (recommended for lifting the seat)
Instructions:
  1. Park on a level surface, set the parking brake, and disconnect the battery if the seat has electrical connections or airbags.
  2. Slide the seat forward and backward to access the front and rear mounting bolts; have a helper support the seat when removing bolts.
  3. Apply penetrating oil to any rusted or stuck fasteners and allow it to soak for a few minutes.
  4. Remove the old bolts using the appropriate socket and ratchet; clean mounting holes and threads with a wire brush or thread chaser.
  5. Place the seat in position (or hold with helper) and hand-thread the new bolts to ensure correct alignment and avoid cross-threading.
  6. Tighten bolts in a crisscross or front-to-rear sequence so the seat seats evenly; final-tighten to factory torque specification (consult the vehicle service manual).
  7. Reconnect any electrical connections if applicable, verify seat movement and locking, and perform a final check for secure fitment.
