Direct-fit front lower left fender repair panel for 1967–1972 Chevy trucks, engineered to replace rusted or damaged lower fender sections and restore factory contours. Stamped from OE-gauge steel and shipped with a corrosion-inhibiting primer, this repair panel restores original mounting points and alignment for a secure, long-lasting repair. Ideal for restoration projects or routine maintenance, it provides reliable structural support, resists future corrosion when properly finished, and accepts welding, seam sealer, and paint for a professional finish.
Features:
  • Fits 1967-1972 Chevy truck models (front lower left fender section).
  • Stamped from OE-style gauge steel for strength and accurate contour replication.
  • Restores mounting points and panel alignment for proper fit and finish.
  • Delivered primed for corrosion resistance and ready for welding or bonding.
  • Simplifies rust repair and body restoration with a direct-fit replacement design.
  • Durable solution that accepts seam sealer, filler, primer, and paint for a factory-quality finish.
Installation / Application:
  • Difficulty: 3/5
  • Estimated time: 2-4 hours (depending on rust extent and experience)
Suggested Tools:
  • Angle grinder with cutoff and grinding wheels
  • Spot-weld cutter or drill with plug-weld bit
  • MIG or TIG welder (or appropriate bonding adhesive for non-weld applications)
  • Clamps and metal-holding pliers
  • Hammer and dolly set
  • Wire brush and rust remover
  • Measuring tape and marker
  • Seam sealer and body filler
  • Primer and paint
  • Protective gear (welding helmet, gloves, respirator)
Instructions:
  1. Inspect and mark the damaged area, and disconnect any nearby components as needed for access.
  2. Cut out the rusted or damaged section using an angle grinder and spot-weld cutter; remove all corrosion back to clean, solid metal.
  3. Prepare mating surfaces by cleaning, degreasing, and wire-brushing to bare metal; test-fit the repair panel and trim as necessary for a snug fit.
  4. Align the panel, clamp into place, and mark plug-weld locations or tack points to match original weld pattern.
  5. Weld the panel in using short, controlled plug or stitch welds to minimize heat distortion; alternately, use an approved structural adhesive if welding is not desired.
  6. Grind welds flush and dress the joint with a hammer and dolly as needed to restore contour.
  7. Apply seam sealer to all joints, then feather in body filler where required to match surrounding contours.
  8. Prime bare metal areas with an epoxy or etch primer, sand smooth, then paint to match the vehicle finish.
  9. Reinstall any removed components and perform a final inspection for fit, corrosion protection, and finish quality.
