Rear license plate bracket and filler panel designed to restore the factory look and secure the license plate on 1967–1991 Chevy trucks. This direct-replacement panel fills the gap in the rear valance, aligns the plate for a clean appearance, and provides a sturdy mounting surface. Built for durability and corrosion resistance, it simplifies restoration or repair projects by offering a reliable, easy-to-install solution that returns the rear trim to OEM-style fitment.
Features:
  • Fits 1967–1991 Chevy truck models (C/K series) for direct replacement of the rear plate/filler panel.
  • Stamped heavy-gauge steel construction for strength and long-term durability.
  • Corrosion-resistant finish to protect against rust and weathering.
  • Secures and centers the license plate while filling the rear valance opening for a factory appearance.
  • Bolt-on design for straightforward installation; restores original fit and finish during restoration.
Installation / Application:
  • Difficulty: 2/5
  • Estimated time: 30-60 minutes
Suggested Tools:
  • Socket set and ratchet
  • Phillips and flathead screwdrivers
  • Center punch or marker
  • Electric drill with metal bits
  • Measuring tape or ruler
  • Masking tape
  • Rust-inhibiting primer or seam sealer (optional)
Instructions:
  1. Park on a level surface, engage parking brake, and remove the license plate from the old bracket.
  2. If required, remove the rear bumper or access panel per vehicle service procedure to reach mounting area.
  3. Unbolt and remove the existing license plate bracket/filler panel and clean the surrounding mounting surface of dirt, rust, and old sealant.
  4. Test-fit the new filler panel into the valance opening, using masking tape to hold it and confirm alignment with taillights and bumper.
  5. Mark mounting hole locations through the panel onto the vehicle using a center punch or marker.
  6. Remove the panel, drill pilot holes at the marked locations, then deburr and treat exposed metal with primer or sealant to prevent corrosion.
  7. Position the panel and secure it with the supplied or appropriate stainless hardware; tighten bolts evenly to avoid distortion.
  8. Reinstall the license plate and bumper (if removed), verify fitment and alignment, and check that the plate is secure and the panel sits flush.
