Instructions:
- Disconnect the negative battery terminal for safety.
- Access the rear lamp assemblies by opening the trunk or removing the rear trim to expose fasteners.
- Remove the existing rear turn signal/parking light assembly mounting screws and carefully pull the assembly forward to expose the wiring connector.
- Disconnect the lamp wiring harness and remove the lamp assembly from the vehicle.
- Clean the mounting surface of old gasket material, rust, and debris. Apply penetrating oil to any stuck fasteners as needed and remove corrosion with a wire brush.
- Place the new gasket (included) against the cleaned mounting surface, positioning any alignment tabs as required.
- Position the lamp assembly and mounting plate against the gasket and thread the new mounting hardware into place by hand to ensure proper alignment.
- Tighten mounting hardware evenly to secure the assembly. If specified, torque fasteners to factory recommendations to avoid over-compression of the gasket.
- Reconnect the wiring harness and test turn signal and parking light operation.
- Repeat the process for the opposite side if installing a full kit, then reassemble any removed trim and reconnect the battery.
