Easy to install with basic tools and minimal disassembly.
Features:
  • Fits 1982-2002 Chevrolet Camaro and Pontiac Firebird inside door lock posts.
  • OEM-style fit and finish for a factory-correct appearance.
  • Durable, wear-resistant materials designed for daily use.
  • Direct-fit replacement for quick restoration or repair of interior trim.

Installation / Application:
  • Difficulty: 1/5
  • Estimated time: 10 minutes per door
Suggested Tools:
  • Flat-head screwdriver
  • Trim panel removal tool (optional)
  • Needle-nose pliers
  • Clean cloth
Instructions:
  1. Lower the window for better access to the lock post.
  2. Inspect the existing knob: many designs either pull straight off or unscrew from the lock post.
  3. If the knob pulls off, grip firmly and pull upward; if it is threaded, turn counterclockwise to remove. Use pliers wrapped with cloth to protect finish if needed.
  4. If the knob is not accessible, remove the door panel by removing visible screws and prying the panel clips with a trim tool, then disconnect any wiring and lift the panel free.
  5. Remove any retaining clip or washer from the lock post and remove the old knob.
  6. Install the new knob by aligning it on the lock post and pushing down until it snaps into place, or thread it on clockwise if applicable.
  7. Test the lock knob for smooth up/down operation and secure fit.
  8. Reinstall the door panel and fasteners if removed, and reattach any wiring.
