Direct-fit front upper ball joint designed for 1984-1996 Chevrolet Corvette (C4) — compatible for both right and left sides. This replacement ball joint secures the upper control arm to the steering knuckle, allowing smooth pivoting of the suspension while maintaining proper wheel alignment. The integrated protective boot is installed at the housing with a retaining ring to keep contaminants out and lubrication in, extending service life. Built for durability and reliable steering response, this part restores factory suspension geometry and reduces play for safer handling and improved ride quality. Easy to install for mechanically inclined DIYers or professional technicians.

- Remove any components obstructing access to the upper control arm (e.g., sway bar link, caliper/hub as needed) following factory guidance.
- Loosen and remove the upper ball joint retaining nut from the steering knuckle; use a ball joint separator or pickle fork to disengage the ball stud from the knuckle.
- Support the upper control arm and remove any bolts or rivets securing the ball joint housing to the control arm per vehicle-specific procedure.

- Secure the ball joint to the control arm with the appropriate fasteners and torque to factory specifications.
- Reconnect the ball stud to the steering knuckle and tighten the retaining nut to the specified torque; if applicable, install a cotter pin.
