Outer right-hand tie rod end for 2003-2006 Infiniti vehicles designed to replace worn steering linkage and restore precise steering control. This heavy-duty replacement tie rod end secures the outer end of the steering rack to the steering knuckle, maintaining correct wheel alignment and reducing play in the steering system. Constructed for durability and reliable performance, it includes a nylon lock nut to resist loosening and simplify installation. Ideal for maintenance, restoration projects, or direct replacement during suspension repairs, it helps improve handling, steering response, and tire wear.
Features:
  • Fits 2003-2006 Infiniti vehicles — verify exact model fitment before purchase.
  • Outer right-hand tie rod end designed to restore steering precision and correct play.
  • Durable metal construction with corrosion-resistant finish for long service life.
  • Includes nylon lock nut to prevent loosening and maintain secure attachment.
  • Direct replacement for worn factory outer tie rod ends; suitable for restoration and routine maintenance.
  • Easy to install with basic hand tools; helps reduce vibration and uneven tire wear.
Installation / Application:
  • Difficulty: 2/5
  • Estimated time: 45-60 minutes (per side)
Suggested Tools:
  • Jack and jack stands or vehicle lift
  • Wheel chocks
  • Lug wrench or impact gun
  • Wrenches and sockets (metric set)
  • Torque wrench
  • Pliers
  • Tie rod end puller or pickle fork
  • Hammer
  • Measuring tape or ruler
  • Alignment equipment or professional alignment service
Instructions:
  1. Park vehicle on level ground, set parking brake, and place wheel chocks behind rear wheels.
  2. Loosen lug nuts on the front wheel (do not remove). Raise the vehicle with a jack and secure on jack stands. Remove the wheel.
  3. Locate the outer tie rod end on the steering knuckle and remove the cotter pin (if present) and the castellated nut or retainer securing the tie rod end stud.
  4. Loosen the jam/adjusting nut that clamps the tie rod end to the inner tie rod but do not fully remove it yet. Note the threaded position or measure distance from a reference point to preserve alignment.
  5. Use a tie rod end puller or a pickle fork to separate the tie rod end stud from the steering knuckle. If using a hammer, strike carefully to avoid damage.
  6. Unscrew the outer tie rod end from the inner tie rod by backing it off the threads. Count the number of turns or match the measured distance from step 4 to maintain approximate alignment.
  7. Install the new outer tie rod end by threading it onto the inner tie rod to the same position or number of turns as the original. Tighten the jam/adjusting nut against the new tie rod end.
  8. Insert the tie rod end stud into the steering knuckle, install the provided nylon lock nut and torque to the vehicle manufacturer’s specification. If a cotter pin is required by the OEM design, use a new one.
  9. Reinstall the wheel, lower the vehicle, and torque the lug nuts to specification.
  10. Because steering alignment was disturbed, have a professional wheel alignment performed to ensure proper toe and prevent uneven tire wear.
