Outer left-hand tie rod end designed to restore steering precision and safety on compatible 2003–2008 Acura and Honda vehicles. This tapered-stud, ball-joint style rod end secures the steering linkage to the steering knuckle, helping maintain proper alignment, reduce play, and prevent uneven tire wear. Manufactured to provide durable, reliable performance with corrosion-resistant components and a robust ball-and-socket assembly, it’s ideal for suspension repairs, routine maintenance, and full restorations. Easy to install for a technician or experienced DIYer when following basic steering-safety procedures.

Instructions:
  1. Park vehicle on level ground, engage parking brake, and place wheel chocks behind rear wheels.
  2. Loosen the wheel lug nuts slightly, then raise the front of the vehicle with a jack and support securely on jack stands. Remove the wheel.
  3. Locate the outer left tie rod end connecting the steering knuckle to the inner tie rod.
  4. Use a marker or paint pen to mark the position and count the number of exposed threads on the tie rod to preserve alignment as closely as possible.
  5. Loosen the jam nut on the inner tie rod, then remove the cotter pin (if present) and loosen the castellated nut securing the tie rod end stud to the steering knuckle.
  6. Separate the tie rod end from the steering knuckle using a tie rod puller or pickle fork. Avoid hitting the steering knuckle directly to prevent damage.
  7. Unscrew the outer tie rod end from the inner tie rod the same number of turns counted earlier to maintain approximate alignment.
  8. Screw the new outer left tie rod end onto the inner tie rod to the previously noted position, then insert the stud into the steering knuckle and tighten the nut to the manufacturer’s specified torque. Install a new cotter pin if required.
  9. Tighten the jam nut against the new tie rod end to lock the assembly.
  10. Reinstall the wheel, lower the vehicle, and torque the lug nuts to specification.
  11. Have a professional wheel alignment performed after installation to ensure correct toe settings and optimal tire wear.
