Outer left-hand tie rod end designed for 2006-2011 Hyundai Accent models. This replacement steering component connects the steering rack to the wheel hub assembly, translating steering input into wheel movement while maintaining alignment. Built for durability and reliable performance, it restores precise steering response, reduces play and vibration, and helps prevent uneven tire wear. Easy to install for DIYers and mechanics, it’s an essential part for safe, predictable handling and steering system maintenance.
Features:
  • Fits 2006-2011 Hyundai Accent — outer left-hand (driver side) tie rod end
  • Durable metal construction with corrosion-resistant finish for long service life
  • Restores steering precision by replacing worn or loose outer tie rod end
  • Helps reduce steering play, vibration, and uneven tire wear
  • Direct-fit replacement for OE mounting and alignment specifications
  • Simple installation for routine steering system repair or restoration
Installation / Application:
  • Difficulty: 3/5
  • Estimated time: 45-90 minutes
Suggested Tools:
  • jack and jack stands
  • wheel chocks
  • lug wrench
  • socket set and ratchet
  • wrenches (open-end/box)
  • tie rod end puller or pickle fork
  • torque wrench
  • needle-nose pliers
  • marker or paint pen
  • measuring tape or caliper
Instructions:
  1. Park on level ground, set parking brake, and chock rear wheels.
  2. Loosen front wheel lug nuts, then lift the vehicle with a jack and support it securely on jack stands.
  3. Remove the front wheel to access the tie rod assembly.
  4. Locate the outer tie rod end; loosen the jam nut that secures it to the inner tie rod and mark the position on the threaded shaft for reference.
  5. Remove the cotter pin (if present) and loosen the castle nut securing the tie rod end to the steering knuckle. Do not fully remove the nut yet.
  6. Use a tie rod end puller or a pickle fork and a few gentle strikes to separate the tie rod end from the steering knuckle. Remove the castle nut and extract the old tie rod end.
  7. Unscrew the old tie rod end from the inner tie rod, counting turns or using the reference mark to approximate alignment.
  8. Thread the new outer left-hand tie rod end onto the inner tie rod to the same position/number of turns as the removed part. Tighten the jam nut against the tie rod end.
  9. Insert the tie rod stud into the steering knuckle and torque the castle nut to factory specifications. Install a new cotter pin if required.
  10. Reinstall the wheel, lower the vehicle, and torque lug nuts to specification.
  11. Check steering freeplay and perform a wheel alignment as soon as possible to ensure proper tire wear and handling.
