  • Solves The Fan Clearance Issues Generated By The GM Double-Groove Pulley
  • No Fan Spacer Required When Using Stock "Low-Pitch" 17" Fan Blades
  • 1/8" Fan Spacer Recommended When Using "High-Pitch" 17" Performance Or Flex-Fans
  • Aligns With Second Groove On Harmonic Balancer Pulley
  • Allows For Use Of First Groove On Balancer Pulley For Water Pump & Alternator
  • Allows For Use Of Third Groove For AC Compressor
  • Fits Short Water Pump Small Block & Big Block Chevy
Fan and pulley clearance issues are common when adding non-serpentine accessories like power steering and AC to a short water pump small block or big block Chevy engine in your 1955, 1956 or 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air, 150, 210 or Nomad. The available double-groove power steering pump pulley currently available for the Saginaw pump requires the use of a fan spacer when using a high-pitch blade. More often than not (especially with 1955-57 Chevys), there is not enough room behind the radiator to space the fan ahead; so you are stuck.
