A direct-fit subframe and radiator support mounting bushing set for 1967–1972 Camaro, Firebird and Nova models. These replacement bushings secure and align the subframe and radiator support to the body, reducing vibration, preventing metal-on-metal wear, and restoring factory ride quality. Molded from high-density polyurethane for long-lasting durability, they resist oil, heat and road chemicals while delivering improved reliability over aged rubber mounts. Ideal for restorations and performance builds, the kit offers straightforward installation and returns structural integrity to the chassis.
Features:
  • Fits 1967–1972 Chevrolet Camaro, Pontiac Firebird and Chevrolet Nova (subframe and radiator support mounting locations).
  • Molded from premium high-density polyurethane for enhanced longevity compared to original rubber.
  • Secures and aligns the subframe and radiator support, reducing vibration and preventing metal-on-metal wear.
  • Direct replacement, bolt-in design — no modification required for stock restoration applications.
  • Resistant to oil, heat and road chemicals for dependable performance in street and performance use.
  • Restoration-grade replacement that restores chassis fitment, improves handling feel and extends service life.
Installation / Application:
  • Difficulty: 3/5
  • Estimated time: 1-3 hours (depending on access and whether additional components must be removed)
Suggested Tools:
  • Floor jack and jack stands
  • Wheel chocks
  • Socket and ratchet set
  • Combination wrench set
  • Breaker bar
  • Torque wrench
  • Hydraulic press or bushing driver set (appropriate size)
  • Penetrating oil
  • Pry bar
  • Rubber mallet
  • Safety glasses and gloves
Instructions:
  1. Park on a level surface, chock the wheels and disconnect the negative battery terminal if working near electrical components.
  2. Raise the vehicle with a floor jack and support securely on jack stands; remove any splash shields or components blocking access to the subframe and radiator support mounts.
  3. Support the engine/subframe with a secondary jack and a wood block to take load off the mount bolts before removing hardware.
  4. Loosen and remove the mounting bolts securing the subframe and radiator support mounts. Keep track of hardware for reinstallation.
  5. Use a hydraulic press or a proper bushing driver to press out the old bushings. Apply penetrating oil to aid removal if bushings are corroded.
  6. Clean the bore and mounting surfaces of debris and corrosion. Test-fit new bushings to ensure correct orientation and fit.
  7. Press the new polyurethane bushings into place using the press or driver. Use a rubber mallet for light seating if required, but avoid hammering metal components.
  8. Reinstall the subframe and radiator support, insert and hand-tighten mounting bolts, then torque all fasteners to factory specifications.
  9. Lower the vehicle, remove jack stands, and perform a visual inspection. Test-drive to confirm reduced vibration and proper handling; re-check torque after initial short drive.
