Muscle Cars & Classics always recommends professional installation of our products. Buyer assumes risk of damage caused by improper installation.
Our tubular rear sway bars offer multiple advantages over the non-effective stock rear bar.
First, unlike the factory bar, ours attaches to the rear end housing and to the chassis crossmember as opposed to the stock lower control arm mounted bar. By using the chassis to stabilize the rear axle as opposed to the opposite control arm, we are able to minimize deflection as your car is placed under a heavy cornering load.
Second, the Detroit Speed bar mounts to the chassis with our Swivel-Links (Patented), allowing free articulation of the bar, eliminating binding through the range of rear suspension travel. Our bar is also made of 1-1/8 inch tubular steel for added strength.
The bar comes powdercoated in a high gloss black finish and includes all necessary mounting hardware.

Months of testing, revising, and polishing stand behind every product we make available to the public, and our test cars prove the point. Each of our development mules receive thousands of hard miles attending car shows, completing road trips, crushing autocross paddocks, and storming track days in the process. The pursuit of perfection has always been our primary goal, and it always will be. Because of this, we can confidently say our systems are the best, most comprehensive solutions to any and all your muscle car problems.
