The Precision Door Bumper BMP 033 is a durable, OEM-style door bumper designed to replace worn or missing stops that cushion doors and prevent contact damage. It serves to absorb impact, reduce rattles and vibration, and ensure consistent door alignment and latching. Intended as a direct-replacement or universal-fit solution for many passenger cars and light trucks—verify fitment against your vehicle part number—this bumper delivers long-lasting rubber resilience and straightforward installation for restoration or maintenance projects.

Suggested Tools:
  • Flat-head screwdriver or trim removal tool
  • Needle-nose pliers
  • Socket wrench or screwdriver (if fastened)
  • Cleaning cloth and isopropyl alcohol
  • Small file or sandpaper (optional)
Instructions:
  1. Confirm fit by comparing the old bumper or mounting location to the BMP 033 dimensions.
  2. Open the door and locate the existing bumper or the bumper mounting boss on the door jamb or door edge.
  3. If an old bumper is present, carefully pry it out with a flat-head screwdriver or trim tool. Use pliers if necessary to pull out any retained stem.
  4. Clean the mounting hole or boss with a cloth and isopropyl alcohol to remove dirt, grease, and debris. Allow to dry.
  5. If the mounting hole is corroded or rough, lightly file or sand to ensure the new bumper seats flush.
  6. Install the BMP 033 by aligning the stem with the mounting hole and pushing firmly until the bumper snaps into place. If the application uses a screw or fastener, align and secure with the appropriate fastener and tighten snugly.
  7. Close and open the door several times to confirm proper contact, alignment, and that rattles are eliminated. Adjust or reseat as needed.
