A direct-replacement pair of left and right glassrun post reliners for Second Series GRP 1112 55 applications. These flexible, weather-resistant extrusions restore the original glass-to-post seal, align the door glass in its channel, reduce wind noise and vibration, and prevent water intrusion and trim wear. Built for durability and repeatable fitment, the reliners make door glass operation smoother and are ideal for restoration or maintenance projects where original sealing performance is required.
Features:
- Fits Second Series GRP 1112 55 glassrun post applications (left and right included).
- Made from weather-resistant flexible rubber compound for long-lasting sealing.
- Restores proper glass alignment and movement in the door channel.
- Reduces wind noise, vibration, and water intrusion for improved cabin comfort.
- Direct replacement pair — no trimming required in most installations.
- Durable construction resists UV, ozone, and compression set for reliable performance.
Installation / Application:
- Difficulty: 2/5
- Estimated time: 30-60 minutes
Instructions:
- Park vehicle on level ground, lower the window glass partially to access mounting points, and disconnect the battery if required by the vehicle.
- Remove the interior door panel and any trim necessary to access the glass run channel and post area.
- Carefully lower or raise the glass to a position where the old reliner can be removed; support the glass so it does not fall.
- Use a flat blade or plastic trim tool to pry out the old reliner sections from the post channel, taking care not to damage the metal channel or glass.
- Clean the channel thoroughly with a cloth and solvent or isopropyl alcohol to remove adhesive, dirt, and old rubber residue.
- Test-fit the new reliner pieces in the channel, trimming minor excess only if absolutely necessary for proper fit.
- Apply a light coating of silicone lubricant or soapy water to the new reliner and the glass edge to ease installation.
- Press the new reliner firmly into the channel, ensuring it seats completely along the post and matches the factory contour.
- Cycle the window several times to confirm smooth operation, correct alignment, and that there are no pinches or gaps.
- Reinstall the door panel and any trim removed, tighten fasteners, and perform a final check for leaks and noise.
