This Precision Beltline Molding Kit (Outer Left and Right, pair — WFP 1410 82) restores and secures the lower edge of the windshield/door glass area, providing a finished appearance while helping prevent moisture intrusion and wind noise. Precision-formed, corrosion-resistant metal with a protective finish and accurate contours replace worn or damaged beltline trim to maintain factory fit and appearance. Ideal for restoration projects and routine maintenance, the kit delivers durability, reliable retention, and straightforward installation to get your vehicle back to showroom condition.
Features:
  • Fits select vehicles — verify part number WFP 1410 82 for exact year, make, and model compatibility.
  • Precision-formed, corrosion-resistant metal with a protective finish for long-lasting appearance.
  • Secures and seals the beltline area to reduce wind noise and prevent moisture intrusion.
  • Replaces worn or damaged outer left and right beltline molding for a factory-style restoration.
  • Direct-fit design with factory-style clips and fasteners for easier installation and alignment.
Installation / Application:
  • Difficulty: 2/5
  • Estimated time: 30-60 minutes
Suggested Tools:
  • Phillips and flathead screwdrivers
  • Trim removal tool or plastic pry tool
  • Socket set or nut driver set (if applicable)
  • Rubbing alcohol or panel cleaner
  • Clean lint-free cloth
  • Masking tape
  • Rubber mallet (optional)
Instructions:
  1. Confirm fitment: compare the kit (WFP 1410 82) to the existing moldings and mounting points before beginning.
  2. Prepare the area: roll the window up/down as needed, use masking tape to protect surrounding paint and glass, and clean mounting surfaces with rubbing alcohol.
  3. Remove old molding: carefully pry away the old beltline molding using a trim tool, removing any clips or retained screws; keep any reusable fasteners if in good condition.
  4. Clean and inspect the mounting channel for rust, debris, or damaged clip holes; repair or treat corrosion before installing new molding.
  5. Test-fit the new molding: align the outer left and right pieces against the beltline to verify orientation and fitment without fully engaging clips.
  6. Install the molding: starting at one end, press the molding into the channel so factory-style clips engage; where applicable, install any retaining screws or fasteners.
  7. Seat the molding: work along the length to ensure even engagement; use a rubber mallet with a block or a soft tap to fully seat sections if needed.
  8. Final check: confirm uniform fit and gap, clean any fingerprints or residue, and verify the window or door operates smoothly without interference.
