A four-piece left- and right-hand beltline molding kit engineered to restore and protect the upper door edge where glass meets bodywork. These precision-formed moldings secure the beltline, prevent water intrusion and trim damage, and deliver a factory‑style appearance for restoration or maintenance projects. Durable materials resist corrosion and UV exposure while a direct-fit design simplifies replacement and improves long-term reliability. Verify part number compatibility with your vehicle before installation.
Features:
- Check part number and vehicle fitment for exact application before ordering.
- Four-piece set includes left and right hand sections for both sides of the vehicle.
- Made from corrosion-resistant metal with factory-style finish for authentic appearance.
- Secures beltline trim to prevent vibration, water intrusion, and edge damage.
- Direct-fit replacement for restoration and maintenance projects; improves sealing and aesthetics.
- Easy to install with basic tools; designed to align accurately with existing mounting points.
Installation / Application:
- Difficulty: 2/5
- Estimated time: 30-60 minutes
Instructions:
- Confirm part number and test-fit each molding against the beltline to identify left/right orientation.
- Carefully remove old moldings: use a trim removal tool to disengage clips or a flathead screwdriver for adhesive-backed pieces; retain any reusable clips.
- Clean the mounting surface thoroughly with isopropyl alcohol to remove dirt, old adhesive, and wax; allow to dry.
- If new clips are supplied, install them onto the new molding per the clip locations; if adhesive is required, apply a thin, even bead of recommended adhesive to the molding channel.
- Position the molding on the beltline and align mounting holes or clip locations; use masking tape to hold the piece in alignment if needed.
- Press the molding firmly into place so clips engage, or maintain pressure for adhesive cure time as recommended by the adhesive manufacturer.
- Check door operation and glass travel to ensure the molding does not interfere; trim any excess material if necessary.
- Allow any sealant/adhesive to cure fully before driving; reinstall any removed interior trim pieces.
