This 8-piece metal framed beltline and glassrun molding kit (left and right) restores proper sealing, alignment, and smooth operation of door glass. Designed as a direct replacement for worn or damaged beltline and glassrun channels, the kit secures the glass, reduces wind noise and vibration, and prevents water intrusion. Constructed with corrosion-resistant metal frames and resilient rubber channels, it delivers long-lasting durability and straightforward installation—verify part number WFK 1111 60 A for correct vehicle fitment before ordering.
Features:
- 8-piece kit includes left and right beltline and glassrun moldings for complete door restoration.
- Metal-framed construction with resilient rubber/glassrun channels for corrosion resistance and long life.
- Seals and aligns window glass to reduce wind noise, vibration, and water intrusion.
- Direct replacement design restores smooth window operation and proper glass positioning.
- Durable materials resist UV, ozone and weathering—ideal for restoration or routine maintenance.
- Easy installation using basic hand tools; no specialty shop equipment typically required.
Installation / Application:
- Difficulty: 3/5
- Estimated time: 1–2 hours per door (2–4 hours for both sides)
Instructions:
- Confirm fitment: verify WFK 1111 60 A matches vehicle year/make/model and note left/right orientation.
- Prepare workspace: park on level ground, disconnect negative battery terminal if removing power window components, and roll window to a safe position if possible.
- Remove interior door panel: use trim tools to release clips, remove screws/fasteners, and carefully detach the door panel to access the regulator and window channel.
- Lower or secure the glass: if needed, support the glass with tape or have an assistant hold it while you work on the channels.
- Remove old moldings: detach any retainers or screws, gently pry out the worn beltline and glassrun moldings, and remove trapped clips or corrosion debris.
- Clean the channel: wipe the metal channel and surrounding area with isopropyl alcohol and remove rust, old adhesive, or debris so the new molding seats properly.
- Test-fit new pieces: dry-fit the metal-framed glassrun and beltline pieces to ensure correct orientation and trimming length before final installation.
- Lubricate and install: apply a thin coat of silicone spray or rubber-safe lubricant to the new rubber channel, then press the metal-framed molding into the door channel, working from one end to the other and using a rubber mallet to seat if necessary.
- Re-seat the glass and check operation: carefully lower/raise the glass to ensure smooth travel and proper alignment; adjust regulator or trim seating if glass binds or gaps remain.
- Secure retainers and trim: reinstall any clips, screws or weatherstrip retainers and ensure the beltline molding is flush and even along the door edge.
- Reinstall door panel: reattach the interior panel and hardware, reconnect electrical connectors, and restore the battery connection if disconnected.
- Final check: operate the window several times and inspect for leaks, wind noise, and smooth operation; make any minor adjustments as needed.
