Direct-fit outer left and right beltline molding pair engineered for 1969–1982 Chevrolet Corvette 2-door coupes only. These precision-formed moldings restore the factory beltline appearance, align and secure the window edge trim, and protect the body flange from chips and moisture intrusion. Made from durable, corrosion-resistant metal with an OEM-style profile and finish, the kit provides long-lasting reliability for restorations or maintenance projects while simplifying reinstallation with accurate contours for a factory look.

Installation / Application:
- Difficulty: 2/5
- Estimated time: 45–90 minutes (pair)
Instructions:
- Prepare the vehicle: park on level ground, lower the window slightly to access the beltline, and cover surrounding panels with masking tape to protect the finish.
- Remove old molding: carefully pry off the existing beltline molding using a trim tool; remove any retained clips or fasteners and set aside if reusable.
- Clean mounting surface: remove old adhesive residue, dirt, and corrosion with rubbing alcohol and a clean cloth; ensure the flange is dry and smooth.
- Test-fit new moldings: align each new outer molding (left and right) along the beltline to confirm fit and orientation; mark key reference points with masking tape.
- Install clips/fasteners: if required, install new or retained clips onto the molding or vehicle flange per original clip locations.
- Seat the molding: starting at one end, engage the molding into the flange and press along its length until each clip snaps into place; use a rubber mallet wrapped in cloth for stubborn sections, tapping lightly.
- Secure fasteners: re-install any screws or bolts if the original design uses mechanical fasteners; verify even alignment and consistent gap along the beltline.
- Final inspection: remove masking tape, wipe surfaces, cycle the window to ensure there is no interference, and make any minor adjustments for a uniform, factory-fit appearance.
