Instructions:
- Park vehicle on level ground and lower the window(s) partially so the molding access area is exposed.
- Carefully remove the old beltline molding by prying outward at the ends with a trim tool or flat screwdriver; remove any retaining clips or screws and keep hardware if reusable.
- Use pliers to extract broken clips and clean the channel and surrounding paint with rubbing alcohol to remove dirt, adhesive residue, and wax.
- Test-fit the new molding pieces to confirm correct orientation and alignment with the window channel and door edges.
- If new clips are provided, attach them to the molding per the kit instructions. Use masking tape to protect adjacent paint if needed.
- Align the molding at one end and press firmly along its length to engage clips or snap it into the channel. Reinstall any screws or fasteners removed earlier.
- Trim any excess material if required (follow kit guidance) and wipe the area clean. Cycle the window to verify smooth operation and proper sealing.
- Inspect the installation for even fitment and secure seating; retighten any fasteners as needed and allow any adhesives or sealers to cure per manufacturer recommendations.
