This 2-piece door weatherstrip seal kit provides left- and right-hand door seals designed to restore a tight, weatherproof fit on Sedan/Wagon applications that use DWP 2311 60 weatherstrips. Engineered to replace worn or cracked seals, the kit keeps water, wind, dust and road noise out of the cabin while reducing rattles and preventing interior water damage. Built for durability and an OEM-style fit, the seals simplify restoration and routine maintenance with straightforward installation and long-lasting EPDM construction.
Features:
- Fits Sedan/Wagon applications using DWP 2311 60 weatherstrip (left and right pieces included).
- Made from durable EPDM rubber for long-term resistance to weather, UV and temperature extremes.
- Seals door perimeter to prevent water intrusion, wind noise and vibration-related rattles.
- Direct-fit replacement that restores factory-like sealing and improves cabin comfort.
- Easy to install with common hand tools; ideal for restorations and routine maintenance.
- Two-piece kit covers both left and right doors for a matched appearance and consistent performance.
Installation / Application:
- Difficulty: 2/5
- Estimated time: 30-60 minutes
Instructions:
- Remove the old weatherstrip: carefully pry out the existing seal and any retained clips or adhesive residue.
- Clean the mounting surface: wipe the door frame channel with isopropyl alcohol and a clean rag to remove dirt, grease and old adhesive.
- Test-fit the new seals: align the left and right pieces in the door channel to confirm fit and orientation before applying adhesive.
- Apply adhesive as directed: follow the adhesive manufacturer’s instructions and apply a continuous bead to the channel or backside of the weatherstrip where specified.
- Install the seal: press the weatherstrip into the channel starting at one end and working around the door. Use a rubber roller or trim tool to seat the seal fully and ensure proper engagement with the channel.
- Trim excess if necessary: trim any overhang with a razor knife for a clean, factory appearance.
- Secure and cure: use masking tape or clamps sparingly to hold the seal in place if needed; allow adhesive to cure per adhesive instructions (typically 1–24 hours).
- Verify operation: close the door several times to check for proper alignment, consistent sealing and unobstructed latching. Adjust if needed.
