Direct-fit door weatherstrip seals for 1961-1967 Ford Econoline vans (left and right hand). These door seals restore a watertight, windproof barrier between the door and body, preventing water intrusion, reducing road noise, and minimizing drafts and corrosion. Engineered to replace worn original seals and return doors to a factory-like fit, the DWP 2130 61 pair offers long-lasting flexibility, compression set resistance, and easy installation for restoration or maintenance projects.
Features:
- Fits 1961-1967 Ford Econoline — left and right hand door weatherstrips (DWP 2130 61).
- Premium EPDM-style rubber compound resists ozone, UV and temperature-related hardening.
- Seals doors to prevent leaks, reduce wind noise and protect interior trim from moisture.
- Restoration-grade replacement to restore original fit and finish.
- Snap-in/install design with trim-able ends for precise door alignment and compression.
- Durable construction for reliable long-term sealing and reduced maintenance.
Installation / Application:
- Difficulty: 2/5
- Estimated time: 30-60 minutes (both doors)
Instructions:
- Open the door and remove the old weatherstrip: carefully pry out any retaining clips or pull out the old seal from the channel.
- Clean the mating surface and channel thoroughly with rubbing alcohol or adhesive cleaner to remove old adhesive, dirt and residue; allow to dry.
- Test-fit the new weatherstrip along the door perimeter to verify orientation and fit; trim the ends if necessary for door stops or hinge clearance.
- If the part is a push-in/snap-in profile, align the seal with the channel and press firmly along its length until fully seated. If adhesive is required, apply a thin bead of weatherstrip adhesive to the channel or seal per the adhesive manufacturer’s directions.
- Start installation at the top hinge area and work outward and downward, pressing the seal into place and using masking tape to hold sections while adhesive sets (if used).
- Close the door gently and check for even compression and alignment; make minor adjustments as needed. Trim any excess material and allow adhesive to cure per instructions before normal use.
