Instructions:
- Park vehicle on a flat surface and ensure beltline surfaces are cool and dry.
- Test-fit each trim piece along the beltline to confirm orientation and fit; mark positions with masking tape.
- If replacing existing trim, carefully remove the old pieces and residual adhesive using a trim tool and scraper as needed.
- Thoroughly clean the mounting area with isopropyl alcohol and a lint-free cloth to remove wax, grease, and dirt; allow to dry.
- If provided or recommended, apply adhesive promoter to the cleaned mounting surface and allow it to flash per product instructions.
- If using heat for better adhesion, gently warm the beltline area and the adhesive backing with a heat gun or hair dryer (keep moving to avoid damage).
- Peel backing from the adhesive on the trim piece, align the piece to the pre-marked position, then press firmly along the entire length to seat the adhesive.
- Secure the installed piece with painter’s tape or clamps if needed and repeat for remaining sections.
- Allow adhesive to cure undisturbed for at least 24 hours (follow any adhesive manufacturer cure times) before washing or driving in heavy rain.
