Instructions:
- Park vehicle on a level surface and roll the window fully up.
- Carefully remove any interior trim panels or weatherstrips that obstruct access to the beltline molding using a plastic trim tool to avoid scratching.
- If present, remove fasteners or clips securing the old molding using appropriate drivers or pliers; keep hardware if reusable or replace as needed.
- Gently pry the old molding away from the body, working along its length to disengage clips; use masking tape on adjacent paint to protect the finish.
- Clean the mounting area thoroughly with isopropyl alcohol to remove dirt, adhesive residue, and wax; allow to dry.
- Test-fit the new molding pieces to confirm orientation and alignment before final installation.
- Starting at one end, press the new molding into place engaging clips or fasteners as required; for adhesive-backed pieces, align carefully then apply even pressure along the length to bond.
- Reinstall any retained fasteners, clips, and interior trim panels. Ensure all components are secure and the window operates without interference.
- Inspect the installed moldings for uniform fit and finish. If necessary, make minor adjustments to clip engagement or alignment.
