Instructions:
- Park on a flat surface, roll windows up and wear gloves to protect trim and paint.
- Use a plastic trim removal tool or small screwdriver to gently pry and remove the old beltline molding; detach any retaining clips carefully to avoid damage.
- Clean the mounting surface thoroughly with isopropyl alcohol to remove old adhesive, dirt and residue; allow to dry.
- Test-fit the new left and right moldings by aligning them with the door’s beltline and locating clip holes or attachment points.
- If required, transfer original clips to the new molding or install new clips; apply an adhesive promoter if specified by the repair method.
- Align the molding at the front edge, then press firmly along the length to seat clips and ensure full engagement. Use masking tape to hold portions in place while adhesive sets if necessary.
- Check window operation to confirm no interference and that the molding clears the glass throughout its travel.
- Remove any protective film, re-secure any fasteners, and allow adhesive to cure per product recommendations before washing or subjecting to heavy use.
