A two-piece door weatherstrip seal kit designed for 1967 4-door sedans and wagons (left and right hand). This kit replaces worn door seals to restore a tight door closure, keep out water, dust and wind noise, and improve interior climate control. Manufactured from durable, weather-resistant rubber with reinforced mounting sections, the seals provide long-lasting compression and reliable performance for restoration or maintenance projects. Easy to fit as a direct replacement, the kit helps maintain original door alignment and reduces rattles and vibration for a quieter ride.
Features:
- Fits 1967 4-door sedans and wagons — left and right hand, 2-piece door seal kit
- Made from weather-resistant rubber compound for long life and UV/ozone resistance
- Seals out water, dust and wind noise while improving climate control and comfort
- Reinforced mounting area for reliable retention and reduced vibration
- Direct-replacement design for straightforward restoration and maintenance
- Simple install — ideal for restoring original door fit and reducing rattles
Installation / Application:
- Difficulty: 2/5
- Estimated time: 30-60 minutes
Instructions:
- Open the door and remove the old weatherstrip: gently pry out any retaining clips or adhesive and peel the old seal away.
- Clean the mounting channel and flange thoroughly with rubbing alcohol or adhesive cleaner to remove old adhesive, dirt, and grease. Allow to dry fully.
- Test-fit the new seal pieces to confirm orientation and trim length as needed for a flush fit.
- Apply a thin, even bead of weatherstrip adhesive to the mounting surface (follow adhesive manufacturer directions for open time).
- Press the new seal into place, starting at one end and working toward the other. Ensure the reinforced mounting area seats fully into the channel.
- Install any retaining clips if provided or required. Wipe away excess adhesive immediately with a clean cloth.
- Close the door gently and check door alignment and seal compression. Make any small adjustments before the adhesive cures.
- Allow adhesive to cure per the adhesive manufacturer's recommendations before exposing to water or heavy use.
