This 8-piece left and right hand Beltline Molding and Glass Run Channel Kit (WFK 1111 64 CA) restores the window seal, trim and guiding channels on classic vehicles. Designed to replace worn or damaged beltline moldings and glass run channels, the kit secures and aligns the side glass, protects it from abrasion, reduces wind noise and rattles, and returns the vehicle’s chrome-lined appearance. Durable chrome bead trim combined with robust channel material delivers long-lasting performance and a factory-style fit for a clean, reliable restoration.
Features:
- Fits 1964 Cadillac (left and right hand; 8-piece kit) — verify specific model fitment prior to purchase.
- Chrome bead trim provides authentic restored appearance and resists corrosion.
- Complete glass run channels help seal the window, reduce vibration and prevent wind noise.
- Replaces worn or cracked channels and moldings to protect glass from damage.
- Durable channel material offers long service life and reliable window alignment.
- Straightforward replacement kit for restoration and maintenance applications.
Installation / Application:
- Difficulty: 3/5
- Estimated time: 1-2 hours
Instructions:
- Lower the window (if possible) and remove the door panel: disconnect wiring, remove screws and pry clips with a trim tool.
- Carefully remove the old beltline molding and glass run channels: loosen fasteners and pry trim away, protecting paint with masking tape as needed.
- Clean the channel area and mounting surfaces thoroughly with solvent; remove corrosion, old adhesive and debris.
- Test-fit new channels and moldings on the door to confirm alignment and fit before final installation.
- Apply a light film of silicone spray or window lubricant inside the new glass run channels to ease glass insertion.
- Install the new glass run channels into the beltline, seating the chrome bead trim into place; press evenly and secure any retainers or clips.
- Raise and lower the window slowly to ensure smooth operation and proper alignment; make minor adjustments as needed.
- Reinstall the door panel and hardware, reconnect wiring, and perform a final test for sealing, noise and fit.
