A 4-piece black beltline molding kit (left and right hand) designed to restore and secure the exterior beltline trim on classic vehicles. The WFK 2110 67 kit provides a clean, OEM-style appearance while protecting the paint edge and helping to prevent water intrusion and vibration-induced noise. Precision-formed pieces deliver consistent fit and alignment for restoration or replacement projects; check vehicle-specific fitment before installation to confirm compatibility with your 1967-era application.
Features:
Durable, weather-resistant black finish for long-lasting restoration-grade appearance.
Four-piece set includes left and right hand pieces to complete both sides of the vehicle beltline.
Precision-formed profiles help align trim, reduce wind noise, and limit water intrusion.
Designed to protect paint edges and prevent trim vibration or damage during normal use.
Simple snap-in or fastener installation—great for restoration, repair, or replacement projects.
Installation / Application:
Difficulty: 2/5
Estimated time: 30-60 minutes
Suggested Tools:
Plastic trim removal tool
Flathead and Phillips screwdrivers
Masking tape
Isopropyl alcohol and clean cloth
Rubber mallet (optional)
Fine-tooth saw or snips (for trimming if required)
File or deburring tool
Instructions:
Park vehicle on a level surface and gather tools. Protect surrounding paint with masking tape where needed.
Carefully remove existing beltline molding and any retained clips or fasteners using a plastic trim tool and screwdrivers. Save reusable fasteners if undamaged.
Clean the mounting channel thoroughly with isopropyl alcohol to remove old adhesive, grease, and debris. Treat any surface corrosion and allow to dry.
Test-fit each new molding piece into position without final fastening. Verify orientation (left/right) and check overall length against the opening.
Trim molding to final length only if necessary using a fine-tooth saw or snips. Deburr cut edges with a file to prevent damage during installation.
If clips or fasteners are provided, align and engage them into the channel, then press the molding into place until fully seated. For adhesive-backed pieces, peel liner and press with firm, even pressure.
Use a rubber mallet with a soft block if needed to ensure full engagement. Reinstall any screws or trim fasteners and remove masking tape.
Inspect alignment and gaps along the beltline. Allow any adhesives to cure per manufacturer recommendations before exposing to heavy use or washing.
