This 10-piece Precision Door Weatherstrip Seal Kit (DK 3110 80) provides OE-style glassruns, beltline seals and door seals for left and right door assemblies. The kit restores proper glass alignment, prevents wind noise and water intrusion, and renews the door sealing surface for quieter, more secure operation. Made from durable EPDM-style rubber, the components resist UV, ozone and compression set for long-lasting performance and straightforward installation.
Features:
- 10-piece kit includes left and right glassruns, beltline seals and door seals (covers both sides).
- OE-style rubber construction (EPDM-type) for long life and weather resistance.
- Restores proper glass alignment, reduces wind noise and prevents water leaks.
- Designed for straightforward replacement and trim restoration projects.
- Flexible material resists cracking, shrinking and ozone degradation.
- Easily trim-to-fit where necessary to match factory channels.
Installation / Application:
- Difficulty: 2/5
- Estimated time: 60-120 minutes (per vehicle)
Instructions:
- Remove the door panel and any trim necessary to access the old weatherstrips and glassruns.
- Carefully lift the window (or lower it as needed) to free the glassrun from the channel; remove clips or screws holding old seals.
- Pull out the old seals and glassruns; use a trim tool to avoid damaging metal or paint.
- Thoroughly clean the channel and mounting surfaces with rubbing alcohol or adhesive cleaner; remove all dirt, old adhesive and debris.
- Test-fit the new glassruns and beltline seals in the door channels to confirm orientation and fit; trim excess material if required.
- If adhesive is recommended, apply a thin, even bead of weatherstrip adhesive to the contact surface and allow it to become tacky per adhesive instructions.
- Press the new seals and glassruns into the channels, starting at one end and working to the other; use masking tape to hold seals in place while adhesive cures if needed.
- Reinstall glass hardware and check window operation; make small adjustments to the seal position so the glass moves smoothly without binding.
- Reinstall door panel and trim, and perform a final water test and road-noise check to ensure a proper seal.
- Allow any applied adhesive to cure fully before heavy use (follow adhesive manufacturer curing time).
