The Precision Door Weatherstrip Seal Kit (Left and Right, 2-piece, DWP 1710 82) provides a reliable replacement for worn door seals to restore a tight, weatherproof closure. Each kit includes matched left- and right-hand seals engineered to keep out water, wind, dust, and road noise while helping reduce vibration and improve cabin comfort. Constructed from a durable weather-resistant rubber compound, these seals resist cracking, shrinking, and UV degradation for long service life. Ideal for restoration or maintenance, the kit is designed for straightforward installation and helps return doors to proper alignment and sealing performance. Verify compatibility with your vehicle using the DWP 1710 82 part number and door opening measurements before purchase.

- Made from a durable, weather-resistant rubber compound to resist cracking, shrinking, and UV damage.
- Restores a tight door seal to prevent water leaks, reduce wind noise, and block dust and drafts.
- Helps reduce rattles and vibration for improved cabin comfort and door alignment.

Installation / Application:
- Difficulty: 2/5
- Estimated time: 30-60 minutes
Instructions:
- Park vehicle on a level surface and open the door to expose the old weatherstrip.
- Carefully remove the existing weatherstrip by prying out retainers or peeling away adhesive, using a plastic trim tool to avoid scratching paint.
- Clean the door flange and channel thoroughly with isopropyl alcohol or adhesive cleaner to remove old adhesive, dirt, and oils; allow surface to dry.
- Test-fit the new left and right seals by aligning them with the door channel and trimming any excess with a razor knife for a precise fit.
- If the seal uses adhesive, apply a thin, even bead of recommended weatherstrip adhesive to the door channel per the adhesive manufacturer’s instructions.
- Press the new seal firmly into place along the entire length, ensuring the seal seats fully and any retention features engage. Use masking tape or clamps to hold sections if adhesive is used.
- Close and open the door several times to confirm proper alignment and compression; trim or adjust as necessary for consistent contact and an even gap.
- Allow adhesive to cure fully per adhesive instructions before exposing to moisture or driving (typically 24 hours).
