The Precision Door Weatherstrip Seal DWB 1110 60 is a 60" left- or right-hand door seal engineered to restore a tight, weatherproof fit at vehicle doors. It provides a flexible, durable barrier against water, wind, dust and road noise while reducing vibration and preventing interior damage from moisture. The profile matches common OEM channels to ensure reliable sealing and long service life, and the part is sized for easy trimming and installation for restoration or replacement projects.
Features:
- 60" length; fits left or right hand door applications (trim to fit as needed).
- Durable, weather-resistant construction for long-lasting performance.
- OEM-style profile for secure sealing against water, wind and road noise.
- Helps prevent interior water intrusion, dust entry and vibration-related wear.
- Easy to install and trim for restoration or replacement of worn door seals.
Installation / Application:
- Difficulty: 2/5
- Estimated time: 30-60 minutes
Instructions:
- Remove the old weatherstrip: gently pry out the existing seal and any retained clips or adhesive without damaging the door channel.
- Clean the mating surface: wipe the door channel and mounting flange thoroughly with isopropyl alcohol to remove dirt, grease and old adhesive.
- Test fit the new seal: align the 60" weatherstrip along the door edge to confirm fit and determine trimming points; ensure orientation for left or right hand placement.
- Trim to length: cut the seal to the correct length using scissors or a utility knife, allowing a small overlap if required by your vehicle's original fitment.
- Apply adhesive if needed: if the seal does not have an adhesive backing or retainer, apply a thin bead of weatherstrip adhesive to the mounting flange following the adhesive manufacturer's instructions.
- Install the seal: press the weatherstrip firmly into the channel or onto the flange, working from one end to the other. Use masking tape or clamps temporarily to hold the seal in position while adhesive sets, if applicable.
- Check alignment and operation: close the door several times to confirm proper sealing and that the door latches smoothly without excessive resistance.
- Allow adhesive to cure: let the recommended cure time pass before removing any temporary supports and before exposing the vehicle to wet conditions.
