Precision Door Weatherstrip Seal, Right Hand DWR 1112 67 is a replacement door seal designed to restore a tight, factory-style seal on the right-hand door of select 1967 vehicles. Its primary purpose is to prevent water intrusion, reduce wind noise, block dust, and help protect interior trim and door jambs from corrosion and wear. Made from durable, weather-resistant rubber, this seal provides long-lasting compression and reliable performance for restoration projects or routine maintenance. Easy to fit and finish, it helps preserve vehicle value while improving comfort and quietness inside the cabin.
Features:
- Fits select 1967 right-hand doors — verify exact year/make/model compatibility before purchase.
- Made from durable, weather-grade rubber to resist ozone, UV and temperature extremes.
- Seals door perimeter to prevent water leaks, reduce wind noise, and keep out dust.
- Restores factory fit and appearance for restoration or replacement applications.
- Designed for straightforward installation with clip-fit or adhesive application depending on door configuration.
- Long-lasting compression memory maintains a reliable seal over time, improving comfort and protection.
Installation / Application:
- Difficulty: 2/5
- Estimated time: 30-60 minutes per door
Instructions:
- Remove interior door panel or trim as needed to access the weatherstrip channel and mounting clips.
- Carefully peel or pry out the old weatherstrip, saving any reusable clips if present.
- Clean the channel and surrounding mounting surface with rubbing alcohol or an appropriate cleaner to remove old adhesive, dirt, and grease. Allow to dry.
- Test-fit the new DWR 1112 67 seal along the door edge to confirm orientation and length; trim excess if necessary.
- If adhesive is required, apply a thin, even bead of weatherstrip adhesive to the channel or the seal per the adhesive manufacturer’s instructions.
- Starting at one end, press the new weatherstrip firmly into the channel or over the mounting flange, working along the length and ensuring clips or edges seat fully. Use a rubber mallet or firm hand pressure to set the seal where needed.
- Trim any overhang with a utility knife for a clean finish and ensure corners and ends are seated without kinks or gaps.
- Reinstall the door panel and any trim pieces removed. Close the door and check for even compression, proper latch engagement, and absence of wind noise or leaks. Adjust as needed.
