Instructions:
- Inspect the vehicle's beltline area and remove any old molding, clips, and adhesive. Use a trim tool and screwdrivers as needed.
- Clean the mounting channel thoroughly with rubbing alcohol or adhesive cleaner to remove dirt, grease, and old sealant. Allow to dry.
- Test-fit each new molding piece to confirm orientation (left/right and upper/lower) and proper alignment before final attachment.
- If original clips are reusable, position the molding and engage the clips into the channel. If adhesive is required, apply an appropriate automotive adhesive per the adhesive manufacturer's instructions.
- Align the molding along the beltline and press firmly along the entire length. Use masking tape to hold pieces in place while adhesive cures, if used.
- Reinstall any trim or hardware removed during disassembly and check the fit at door edges and seals. Make minor adjustments as needed.
- Allow any adhesive to cure fully before driving (refer to adhesive cure time). Perform a final inspection for secure fit and proper sealing.
