The Precision Door Weatherstrip Seal Kit (DWB 1110 07) is a left-or-right door sealing solution designed to protect vehicle interiors from water, wind, and road noise. This kit replaces worn or damaged door seals to restore a tight, durable barrier between door and frame, improving cabin comfort and preventing corrosion. Verify fitment for your specific vehicle using the part number DWB 1110 07 before purchase; the kit is ideal for restoration and routine maintenance.
Features:
- Left or right hand door kit — part DWB 1110 07 for universal door-side replacement.
- High-quality rubber construction resists UV, ozone and temperature extremes for long life.
- Creates a watertight and airtight seal to prevent leaks, drafts and road noise.
- Direct-fit profile conforms to door frame for secure, consistent contact and reduced vibration.
- Easy replacement for restoring original sealing performance and protecting interior trim and electronics.
Installation / Application:
- Difficulty: 2/5
- Estimated time: 30-60 minutes per door
Instructions:
- Open the door and remove the old weatherstrip: carefully pull along the seal and use a trim tool to disengage any clips.
- Cut away any remaining adhesive and rubber with a razor, taking care not to damage the paint or door flange.
- Clean the sealing surface thoroughly with isopropyl alcohol or adhesive cleaner and allow it to dry.
- Test-fit the new seal (left or right as applicable) along the door edge to confirm correct orientation and length.
- If adhesive is recommended, apply a thin bead of weatherstrip adhesive to the door flange in short sections; avoid continuous application to prevent squeeze-out.
- Press the new weatherstrip firmly into place, aligning any factory holes or clip positions. Use masking tape to hold the seal in position while adhesive cures if needed.
- Trim any excess material with a razor for a neat fit and inspect the seal along the full door perimeter for continuous contact.
- Allow adhesive to cure per product instructions (if used). Re-check door operation and adjust as needed to ensure proper closure and sealing.
