The Precision Cowl End Caps CES 1110 99 are direct-fit replacement end caps designed to restore the cowl area at the base of the windshield. They secure and align the cowl panel and wiper assembly, help prevent water intrusion and debris buildup, and restore factory appearance and fit. Finished for corrosion resistance and sized to match OE mounting points, these caps provide a durable, reliable solution when repairing or restoring the cowl area. Verify fitment for your specific year, make, and model before purchase.
Features:
- Direct-fit replacement cowl end cap that restores fit and appearance.
- Heavy-duty construction with corrosion-resistant finish for long service life.
- Protects the cowl area by sealing against water intrusion and debris.
- OEM-style mounting points for straightforward bolt-on installation.

Installation / Application:
- Difficulty: 2/5
- Estimated time: 30-60 minutes
Instructions:
- Park vehicle on level ground, engage parking brake, and open the hood.
- Remove windshield wiper arms: lift the wiper arms, remove retaining nuts, and carefully pull the arms off the splines. Note arm positions for reinstall.
- Remove any cowl fasteners or trim pieces securing the old end caps using appropriate sockets or screwdrivers. Use a trim tool to gently pry clips if needed.
- Apply rust penetrant to seized fasteners and let soak if necessary. Remove fasteners and set aside if reusing.
- Carefully remove the old cowl end caps. If they are corroded, use a trim tool and gentle prying to avoid damaging surrounding sheetmetal.
- Clean the mounting surfaces thoroughly with a wire brush or sandpaper to remove rust, dirt, and old sealant. Wipe clean with a shop rag.
- Test-fit the new cowl end caps to confirm alignment with existing holes and trim. Make any minor adjustments before final installation.
- Apply a thin bead of automotive-grade sealant to the mounting surface where the cap contacts the body to ensure a water-tight seal.
- Position the new end caps and fasten using the original or supplied hardware. Tighten fasteners snugly but avoid over-torquing.
- Reinstall cowl trim pieces and any removed clips or screws. Reattach the windshield wiper arms in their original indexed positions and tighten retaining nuts.
- Close the hood and operate the wipers to verify clearance and proper operation. Inspect the seal for any gaps and touch up with sealant if needed.
- Clean up tools and dispose of old parts properly.
