Instructions:
- Carefully remove the interior trim and any retainers to access the quarter glass leading edge.
- Gently pry out and remove the old seal, taking care not to damage the glass or channel.
- Clean the channel and mating surfaces thoroughly with isopropyl alcohol or adhesive remover and a lint-free cloth; remove all old adhesive, dirt and debris.
- Dry the area completely. Lightly lubricate the new seal with soapy water or silicone lubricant to ease installation.
- Position the new seal at the leading edge and press it into the channel, aligning it with the factory contour. Work along the length, seating the bulb and lip fully into place.
- Trim any excess seal material flush with the surrounding weatherstrip using a utility knife, if necessary.
- Tap the seal gently with a rubber mallet or block of wood to ensure even seating, then reinstall interior trim and retainers.
- Inspect the seal for uniform fit and test for leaks after installation by gently spraying water around the glass perimeter.
