Instructions:
- Park vehicle on a level surface and remove the T-top panel following vehicle-specific procedures; support the panel to prevent damage.
- Carefully remove the old weatherstrip from the left-hand T-top channel using a trim tool or wrapped flat screwdriver. Peel away any remaining adhesive.
- Clean the mounting channel thoroughly with rubbing alcohol or mild cleaner and a clean cloth. Allow the area to dry completely.
- Dry-fit the new seal into the channel, aligning the part so the bulb and flange seat correctly around the roof opening and T-top edge.
- If adhesive is recommended, apply a thin, even bead of weatherstrip adhesive to the channel or back of the seal per adhesive instructions. Avoid excess glue.
- Press the seal firmly into the channel, working from one end to the other. Use masking tape to hold the seal in position if needed.
- Trim any excess material with scissors or a utility knife for a neat fit. Use a rubber roller or soft block to smooth and seat the seal evenly along its length.
- Allow adhesive to cure per the adhesive manufacturer's instructions, then reinstall the T-top panel and check for proper fit, leaks, and wind noise.
