Right-hand T-top side weatherstrip designed for 1990–1996 Nissan 300ZX coupe models. This replacement seal restores the T-top-to-body interface to prevent water intrusion, reduce wind noise and vibration, and protect interior trim from damage. Made from durable EPDM rubber with a profile matched to original equipment, it offers long-lasting compression set resistance and reliable sealing performance. Ideal for restoration projects or routine maintenance, the seal installs with basic tools and brings back a secure, weather-tight fit for your T-top panels.
Features:
- Fitment: 1990–1996 Nissan 300ZX Coupe (right-hand T-top side).
- Precision-molded EPDM rubber resists weathering, ozone, and UV for long service life.
- Seals T-top panels to prevent water leaks, dust ingress, and wind noise.
- Restoration-grade replacement that matches original profile and fit.
- Easy to install with basic hand tools; restores proper compression and reduces vibration.
Installation / Application:
- Difficulty: 2/5
- Estimated time: 30-60 minutes
Instructions:
- Park vehicle on level ground and ensure T-tops are closed and supported per vehicle manual.
- Carefully remove the old weatherstrip: use a plastic trim tool to pry out any retainers and peel the old seal away from the channel.
- Thoroughly clean the flange and channel where the seal seats using isopropyl alcohol or a mild cleaner; remove old adhesive and debris so the surface is dry and smooth.
- Test-fit the new seal along the T-top flange to confirm orientation and fit; trim excess if necessary, following the original seal length.
- If adhesive is recommended, apply a thin, even bead of weatherstrip adhesive to the flange or the new seal per adhesive instructions. Allow tack time if specified.
- Starting at one end, press the new seal firmly into the channel, working along the length and ensuring the bulb and lip engage the mating surfaces evenly. Use masking tape temporarily to hold sections if needed while adhesive cures.
- Close the T-top gently and check for even compression and gaps. Make small adjustments by opening and pressing the seal into place where needed.
- Allow adhesive to fully cure before driving. Recheck after a short test drive for proper sealing and make final adjustments if necessary.
