Windshield weatherstrip for 1961-1967 Ford Econoline trucks that seals and secures the windshield flange. This WBL 603 seal (without a trim groove) prevents water intrusion, reduces wind noise, cushions the glass, and protects the vehicle interior from weather and road grime. Made from a durable, weather-resistant rubber compound, it restores proper fit and finish for classic Econoline restorations or routine maintenance while offering long-lasting reliability and straightforward installation.
Features:
- Fits 1961-1967 Ford Econoline (windshield application).
- Durable, weather-resistant rubber compound engineered to resist UV, ozone and temperature extremes.
- Designed without a trim groove to match original-style windshield flanges and glass seating.
- Seals windshield to prevent leaks and wind noise while cushioning and protecting the glass.
- Easy to install for restoration projects or replacement maintenance; returns original fit and finish.
Installation / Application:
- Difficulty: 3/5
- Estimated time: 1-2 hours
Instructions:
- Park vehicle on level ground and protect painted surfaces with tape or cloth.
- Carefully remove the old weatherstrip: use a trim tool and scraper to lift edges, and a razor blade to cut any bonded sections. Remove all old rubber and adhesive residue.
- Thoroughly clean the windshield flange and surrounding glass with glass cleaner and a cloth. Allow area to dry completely.
- Test-fit the new WBL 603 weatherstrip around the windshield flange to confirm orientation and fit. Note that this seal is without a trim groove and seats directly against the glass flange.
- Apply a light film of soapy water or approved rubber lubricant to the seal lip to ease installation. If your vehicle originally used adhesive, apply a thin, even bead of automotive adhesive/sealant to the flange where indicated by the manufacturer.
- Starting at the top center, press the weatherstrip into place and work outward toward the corners. Use your hands or a block of wood and rubber mallet to seat the seal evenly without twisting.
- Trim any excess material if required, using a razor blade for a clean edge. Re-check the entire perimeter for full seating and even compression.
- Allow any adhesive/sealant to cure per product instructions before driving. Inspect for leaks and adjust if necessary.
