The Precision Dock Boat Bumper UWS 210-75 is a heavy-duty dock bumper designed to protect boat hulls and dock structures from impact and abrasion. Built for mounting on docks, pilings, piers and boat lifts, it cushions contact during docking and reduces hull damage, scuffing and vibration. Its durable, UV-resistant construction delivers long service life in marine environments while remaining simple to install and maintain.
Features:
- Heavy-duty, UV-resistant polymer construction for long-lasting marine use.
- Designed to absorb impacts and prevent hull damage, scuffs, and vibration.
- Simple bolt-on installation to docks, pilings, piers, boat lifts and similar surfaces.
- Low-maintenance design resists saltwater, sun exposure and routine wear.
- Ideal as a replacement part for dock restoration or upgrading protective bumpers.
Installation / Application:
- Difficulty: 2/5
- Estimated time: 30-60 minutes (per bumper, depending on mounting surface)
Instructions:
- Select mounting location on dock, piling or pier where bumper will protect the hull at typical tie-up height.
- Measure and mark hole locations using the bumper’s mounting holes as a template; confirm level and alignment.
- Choose appropriate fasteners for the substrate (stainless lag bolts for wood, through-bolts with backing plate for pilings/concrete anchors for masonry).
- Pre-drill pilot holes sized for the chosen fasteners to prevent splitting and ensure secure seating.
- Apply marine-grade sealant to the fastener holes or bolt shanks to prevent water ingress and corrosion.
- Position the bumper and install fasteners; tighten evenly so the bumper sits flush without excessive compression.
- Check alignment and re-level if necessary; trim or reposition if the bumper interferes with normal docking clearance.
- Inspect fasteners and sealant periodically and re-tighten or reseal as part of routine dock maintenance.
