A universal textured PVC-covered, wire-core push-on U-channel designed to protect, seal and finish exposed panel edges on cars, trucks and vans. The textured PVC exterior resists weather and wear while the internal wire core provides firm, reliable grip on sheet metal or trim edges. Ideal for restoring or replacing worn edge trim, it installs quickly with a simple push-on fit and can be trimmed or heated for tight bends, delivering durable, professional-looking results.

Installation / Application:

Instructions:
- Measure the panel edge to determine required length and mark the U-channel.
- Clean the edge thoroughly with isopropyl alcohol and allow to dry to remove dirt, grease, and old adhesive.
- Cut the U-channel to length with a utility knife or heavy-duty scissors, leaving a small allowance for overlaps if needed.
- Test-fit the piece over the edge to confirm fit and alignment before final installation.
- If extra holding power is desired, apply a thin bead of weatherstrip adhesive inside the channel.
- Starting at one end, press the U-channel onto the panel edge. Work along the length, pushing the channel fully onto the edge with your thumb, pliers, or a small mallet wrapped in cloth.
- For tight curves, warm the PVC with a heat gun to increase flexibility, then form around the curve and allow to cool.
- Trim any excess material and ensure both ends are seated. Allow adhesive (if used) to cure per manufacturer instructions.
