Instructions:
- Identify and locate the damaged or missing clips on the trim or panel.
- Carefully remove the trim panel using a trim removal tool or flathead screwdriver wrapped in a rag to avoid scratching. Release any retained screws or fasteners first.
- Remove old or broken clip remnants from the panel and vehicle mounting hole. Use needle-nose pliers if needed.
- Align the trim panel mounting hole with the vehicle’s receiving hole. If holes are misaligned, adjust the panel position until it seats correctly.
- Push the molded clip into the panel hole until it snaps into place. For tight fits, use trim clip pliers to press firmly and evenly.
- Reinstall the trim panel by pressing it onto the vehicle’s receiving studs until each clip engages. Replace any additional fasteners or screws.
- Inspect the panel for secure fitment and test for any remaining movement or rattles. Replace additional clips as needed.
