Instructions:
- Park vehicle on a level surface and protect surrounding paint with tape or rags.
- Carefully remove the windshield molding using a plastic trim tool or a wrapped flathead screwdriver to avoid scratching; work slowly to expose existing clips.
- Remove any broken or worn clips with needle-nose pliers and clean the clip mounting area with rubbing alcohol and a lint-free cloth; ensure the surface is dry.
- Match the replacement clip orientation to the original and align the molding slot with the clip location on the windshield frame.
- Push each new clip into the frame or molding until it seats with an audible click; use steady pressure and avoid forcing at an angle.
- Re-seat the molding over the installed clips, pressing along its length to engage all fasteners. Replace any additional clips as needed.
- Inspect the molding gap and fit; test for wind noise and ensure there are no visible gaps that could allow water intrusion.
