Instructions:
- Inspect the replacement hole and the clip to ensure correct size and orientation.
- Remove any debris, rust or old clip fragments from the mounting hole using a cloth or compressed air.
- If replacing a damaged clip, remove the old fastener with a trim tool or flat-head screwdriver, taking care not to damage surrounding trim.
- Align the panel or trim piece so the hole in the panel lines up with the hole in the body or header.
- Position the clip over the hole and push straight in until you hear or feel it snap into place and the head sits flush with the panel.
- Gently tug the panel to confirm the clip is fully engaged and the trim is secure. Replace additional clips as needed to restore full panel retention.
