Instructions:
- Park vehicle on a level surface and ensure ignition is off.
- Remove the trim panel or component to access the damaged or missing clip. Use a plastic trim tool to avoid marring surfaces.
- If an old clip remains, pry it out carefully with a trim tool or use needle-nose pliers to pull it free.
- Inspect the hole or mounting boss for debris or damage and clean as needed.
- Align the new clip with the mounting hole or boss. Make sure any tapered or locking features are oriented correctly.
- Firmly push the clip into the hole until it seats or you hear/feel it click into place.
- Reinstall the trim panel by aligning the panel over the clips and pressing evenly until all clips engage.
- Check the panel for secure fit and test for reduced vibration or looseness.
