Instructions:
- Prepare the work area and remove any trim or panel obstructing the clip location.
- Use a trim removal tool or flat-blade screwdriver to gently pry out the old or damaged clip. Work slowly to avoid damaging the panel.
- Clean the receiving hole and surrounding area of dirt, rust, or debris with a rag and mild cleaner.
- If the hole is tight, apply a small amount of soapy water or silicone spray to the clip shank for easier insertion.
- Align the clip shank with the hole and push straight in until the head seats flush and you feel or hear the clip snap into place.
- Reinstall the trim or panel and check for secure fitment and absence of rattles. Replace any additional worn clips as needed.
