There were both 5" and 6" spare tire/wheel hold down bolts used in 1957. The 5" versions are often difficult to use especially with slightly wider tires. This 6" version is a very accurate reproduction of the original and the additional inch is very handy. Since it is prominent in the trunk a nice new one looks great. We also offer the large wing-nuts in both driver quality and very correct reproduction.
