Pink Panther would look like one cool sleuth in this '70 Charger

By Claudio D'Andrea

Long, sleek and flexing lots of muscle, a 1970 Dodge Charger was the subject of a recent Rust Valley Restorers series of episodes that showed the bodywork that went into restoring this classic car.

The 16:28-minute YouTube video by the popular Canadian automotive channel on March 17, 2025 shows host Mike Hall revealing the restored Charger in hot pink finish with a black hardtop. He calls it "automotive art made by Mother Mopar."

The video shows the perfectly clean undercarriage of the car and pink paint gleaming finish on the 22-foot car.

In an earlier episode, Hall and auto body tech Cassidy Mceown showed the car in its early stages as it was being primed and ready for final paint. The episode includes final bodywork, sanding, gap checking and preparing the car for sealer and primer.

"The Charger is massive, the details are endless and every small decision now will show once colour goes on," he says in the earlier episode.

"This thing is absolutely stunning," Hall says in describing the outcome on his YouTube channel. He calls the work done on the car "unreal" and attention to detail "next level."

The car won best in show at Mopar Madness Car Show in Leduc, Alberta last summer.
