Instructions:
- Park vehicle on level ground, disconnect the negative battery terminal if working near power windows.
- Remove door trim panel by prying out trim clips and removing screws; carefully set panel aside and disconnect any electrical connectors.
- Peel back the moisture barrier to expose the inner door cavity and window regulator assembly.
- If removing broken glass, carefully clear any fragments while wearing gloves and eye protection.
- Lower or position the window regulator to access mounting fasteners; support the old glass or new panel with suction cups or a helper.
- Loosen and remove the fasteners securing the old glass to the regulator, then carefully lift the glass out through the window opening.
- Clean the window channels and regulator contact points; remove debris and inspect seals or clips for damage and replace as needed.
- Insert the new tempered glass into the door opening at the same angle as removal, aligning it into the upper channel and then into the regulator mount.
- Secure the glass to the regulator with the original fasteners or provided hardware; tighten to vehicle specifications and verify smooth up/down movement.
- Reinstall the moisture barrier, reconnect any electrical connectors, and reinstall the door trim panel.
- Test window operation several times to ensure proper alignment, sealing, and smooth movement. Make final adjustments if necessary.
