These Flowtech headers fit 1996-1999 Chevy/GMC Truck, 1500/2500, 1996-1997 Suburban, 1996-1997 Tahoe/Yukon: 5.7L, Tube Size 1.5" O.D., w/o A.I.R.; Black Paint; 50-State Legal header CARB EO #D-115-16.

  • Extra thick 3/8” flanges for a leak-free seal
  • Designed as a direct fit replacement for factory exhaust manifolds

  • Complete with premium gaskets and hardware
Breaking in an engine with ceramic coated headers WILL result in damage to the coating and will VOID all warranties. Ceramic coated headers require several heat cycles to fully cure before they will withstand extreme heat. Flowtech recommends using cast iron exhaust manifolds or old headers to break in new engines to avoid coating damage. Please call Flowtech tech services at 270-781-9741 for additional information regarding ceramic exhaust products. The use of header wraps can cause the header tubes to crack or rust due to excessive heat and moisture build-up. Flowtech does not recommend the use of header wraps as this will void the warranty.

About FlowTech

Flowtech Performance Exhaust was founded in 1994, by exhaust market expert Gary Biggs, with the mission of delivering high quality performance exhaust at a great value. The mission was successful and in less than two decades Flowtech became the leader in value priced exhaust systems.

They dimpled their tubes at the port to make more room for the header bolts and they parallel ground their flanges to assure a tight seal. Their patented Warlock bypass muffler won the SEMA best new product award for its revolutionary open or closed design in 1996.

When Flowtech became part of Holley Performance Products in 1999, the company continued to focus on value, with an emphasis on late model cars and trucks. Headers and exhaust systems were developed for Mustangs, Camaros, and all types of full size trucks - including diesels.
