Instructions:
- Prepare a clean, level work area and put on protective gloves and eye protection.
- Place the cradle on a stable bench, stand, or safe flat surface; if you will secure the cradle to a mount, attach it now using the appropriate fasteners and a ratchet or wrench.
- Position soft padding or cloth on the cradle’s contact points if extra protection is desired.
- Lift the windshield with at least two people (or proper lifting equipment). Gently lower the glass onto the cradle so the weight is distributed evenly across the cushioned surfaces.
- Use wide straps to secure the windshield in the cradle for transport or while making adjustments—avoid overtightening straps against glass.
- When ready to install, lift the windshield from the cradle with appropriate help/equipment, align to the vehicle opening, and follow the vehicle manufacturer’s installation procedure for adhesives and seals.
- After use, clean the cradle’s contact surfaces and store in a dry area to prevent corrosion and prolong service life.
